Fostering Excellence through SEBA Standards & Modern Educational Practices
Samutkrishti Academy is committed to providing a robust academic foundation. We strictly adhere to the curriculum prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), ensuring our students are well-prepared for state-level assessments and the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination.
However, we go beyond the textbooks. Motivated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines and the National Education Policy (NEP), we integrate experiential learning, critical thinking, and digital literacy into our classrooms. This hybrid approach ensures our students are not just exam-ready but life-ready.
Our core syllabus aligns with SEBA, focusing on regional languages, mathematics, science, and social sciences relevant to our state's context while maintaining national standards of quality.
We adopt the pedagogical strategies of CBSE, such as continuous comprehensive evaluation, activity-based learning, and a focus on conceptual clarity rather than rote memorization.
"We integrate modernity while respecting the tradition of our elders."
At Samutkrishti Academy, we believe that a tree grows tallest when its roots are deep. While we are planning to equip our classrooms with smart technology and teach coding and robotics, we equally emphasize the values passed down by our elders. Our students start their day with traditional prayers and yoga, learning respect, humility, and community service alongside physics and mathematics. We aim to create global citizens who are proud of their heritage.
Our academic progression is designed to cater to the developmental needs of children at different stages, following the SEBA agenda.
The focus is on building strong foundational literacy and numeracy. We use the SEBA prescribed textbooks but supplement them with interactive worksheets and digital content.
Students are introduced to more specialized subjects. The curriculum transitions from environmental studies to distinct sciences and social sciences. The three-language formula is implemented effectively.
This stage is dedicated to preparing students for the HSLC Board Examinations. The curriculum is rigorous, with an emphasis on deep understanding, practical application, and regular assessment.
